Your privacy

Short version: we never sell your information, and we only keep what we need to run the site.

  • Welcome questions are anonymous

The questions when you first visit (how you heard about us, age group, what you're looking for) are optional. Answers are saved without anything that says who you are, and only our team sees the totals.

  • Your address stays private

When you type an address to find the closest places, it's sent to OpenStreetMap's free search service to find it on the map. We don't save it. “Use my location” only works if you allow it, and your location stays in your browser.

  • Saved on your device only

Your language and whether you picked “help” or “volunteer” are remembered in your own browser so the site opens the right way next time. Clearing your browser data removes them.

  • If you write to us

Messages sent with the Contact us form go only to our team. Your email is optional; if you leave it, we use it only to reply.

  • If you add an organization

The name and email you give on the Add a listing page are only used to check the listing with you. They are never shown on the site.

  • Other websites

Buttons like “Visit their website” take you to the organization's own site, which has its own privacy rules. The map uses OpenStreetMap, and our website host (Lovable) may count page visits.
